Jen Grisanti Consultancy Inc. presents the first Writer/Yoga Retreat. It is combining the best of both practices.
When: August 18-23, 2009

RSVP: Must contact Jen Grisanti at jennifer@jengrisanticonsultancy.com about which package your getting. You can charge the deposit. All deposits are $500.00 regardless of package and due by June 1, 2009.
Jen Grisanti is currently the writing instructor for NBCs, Writers on the Verge Program. She was a television executive for over a decade at top studios. Aaron Spelling was her mentor. She designed this retreat with one of LAs top yoga instructors, Meaghan Townsend. The concept is mixing wellness with the creative process. Jen's brand for her company is Developing From Within. By doing the work to develop inside, Grisanti feels you become stronger on the page.
Writer wise, this retreat is designed for television and feature writers. All levels are welcome. Like she teaches for Writers on the Verge, Jen plans to do group consults with writers where you'll hear not only input from Jen but from other writers on your material. The idea is to create a community. You will also have one on one consults with Jen in effort to get your script in the best place it can be. Upon returning, not only will you have a script you feel more confident about, but you'll have a new support group of other writers.
Yoga wise, Meaghan is one of the best yoga instructors out there. She will be teaching two classes a day. She teaches a more advanced practice and is loved by everyone who takes her.
You can do the Writer/Yoga consult or you can do it individually.
Rates (this includes hotel accomodations and consults/classes)
Writer/Yoga - $1,800.00 - $2.000.00 per person
Writer Only - $1,600.00 - $1,800.00 per person depending on whether the consult is for a television or feature script
Yoga Only - $1,600.00 per person
A $500.00 deposit is due by the June 1, 2009 to reserve a spot. The remainder is due at the beginning of August.

Add to my calendarJen Grisanti Consultancy Inc. was launched in January of 2008. It is a consultancy designed to purely focus on the development of story for television, film and novelists. Jen was a television executive for over a decade at top studios. Aaron Spelling was her mentor. She designed this company as a way to help writers get to the next step in their careers starting with getting the scripts in the strongest place possible. If the scripts reach the quality that Jen can add value to, she also has services to help writers find representation and other things that help guide writers to a stronger place in their careers. Since launching, Jen has worked with over a 100 writers and gotten writers into UTA, CAA and Kaplan Stahler agencies.
Jen is currently the writing instructor for NBCs, Writers on the Verge.
